In 2002, The Midiri Brothers Sextet made their West Coast debut at the Costa Mesa Orange County Classic Jazz Festival in California and were the official hit of the festival, so much so that L.A. Jazz magazine stated “Catch them whenever you can!” as well as “their sextet is one of the most exciting small group swing units around today.” In 2004, The Midiri Brothers Sextet made their debut at the Wine Country Vintage Jazz Festival, held on September 3-5, 2004 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Rohnert Park, CA., as well as the Sun Valley Swing & Dixie Jazz Jamboree.
