To Ericka Midiri: I'm thrilled you liked my reviews of your CDs. Your band, especially the small groups, are terrific. The big band & swing era ended before I was born but I was heavily influenced by my Mom's old 78s. Keep playing the great jazz music. There aren't enough bands like yours today. I only heard your band because I received copies of Fingerbustin' & Bridgewater to review from www.rambles.net for whom I a staff writer. I also have additional reviews on my own website whose URL is listed here. I will be forwarding my review of Avalon shortly. It's another great one!

Hello, I am JK from "The Evolution of Swing" heard every Saturday night 11 PM to 3 am EST on WNTI 91.9 FM in Hackettstown, NJ. I am looking for you or your band to do a phone interview live on my show. My show features the best in swing, big band, jazz, jump blues & rockabilly every week. To see what I am playing on the "Evolution of Swing" go to wnti.org and click under playlists on the website. It would be nice if you made some mention of the sidemen in your various musical aggregations on your website. Or perhaps your personnel is too fluid.

What a wonderful experience at the Conn Jazz Fest to see old friends doing a great job at this fine fest. we have been to all but the first fest. You should be very proud at the response. We try to catch you at your local events whenever possible. I suggested you to Joel about three years ago. The new CD is also great. We managed to be at three of your performances there. Hope you can make Tri-State Jazz some time again soon. We are already on your list. The Petersons

Have never been SO-O-O impressed by a performance as I was at the CT jazz festival this past weekend.
Each individual's talent was amazing! And together - WOW! What's outstanding in my mind is the
ENTHUSIASM put forth by everyone. It's very obvious that each of you tremendously LOVE what you're
doing and, as a result, pull your entire audience into the center of that enthusiasm. Can't wait to be pulled
in again!!! :-) :-)
